Words of Encouragement

As I was finishing up my study with ol' Hab today, I read this quote from Matthew Henry. It encouraged my heart so, that I just have to share it with all of you. Referring to the last chapter (Ch. 3) he says....

"Habakkuk who begins his prayer with fear and trembling, ends it with joy and triumph. And thus, faith in Christ prepares for every event. The name of Jesus, when we speak of Him as ours, is balm for every wound, a cordial for every care. It is ointment poured forth, shedding fragrance through the whole soul. In the hope of a heavenly crown, let us sit loosely to earthly possessions and comforts, and cheerfully bear up under crosses. Yet a little while, and He that shall come, will come, and will not tarry, and where He is we shall be also."
That just makes me want to shout, raise my hands, dance a jig....I might could even jump a pew! What about you?

Hello, thank you for your message and for your prayers. I am scared and can't stop thinking about my son and how all this is going to turn out.I don't want to die.

This takes my breath away in anticipation.
That little feeling of nervous excitement when I think of seeing Him face to face. Bring it on. Come Lord Jesus come.
I had a dream about the rapture about two weeks ago. It was an incredible feeling when i looked at the change in the sky and I KNEW what was happening. Every once in awhile I get that feeling in the pit of my stomach. What glory waits for us on the other side.

I just bought my tickets to the LPM event in Louisville for next year and booked my hotel. I am bringing a few siestas with me! Are you going to be there? We are staying at the Baymont Inn! Crazy, yes, fun, OH YEAH!!

Ok, since I am working Deeper Still in Nashville I won't wake you at 3:00 a.m. but I will have my friend save you a seat. How does that sound?!
